Could anyone with CK experience please let me know if this question book is good for Step 2 CK, in terms of the questions' quality, and in comparison to UW or Kaplan? Thanks a lot! NMS Review for USMLE : United States medical licensing examination step, step 2 CK Imprint Philadelphia : Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins, c2007. The amazon link for the 2nd version is here. http://www.amazon.com/NMS-Review-USMLE-Licensing-...

I see the 3rd version (2007) this book in a library's electronic catalog, but am not sure if it is worth borrowing, and spending time on. Personally I did not like NMS question book for Step1. The interface was very cumbersome to use.

The questions in this book (2007 edition) test the major concepts required in step 2. Few images, some of poor quality. You can use the book or the CD that comes with it (same content). The interface for the software is ok, although different from the actual exam. The advantage of the CD is that you can customize the Qs by subject. Overall, it's a good book, comparable with Kaplan Q-bank. UW is much better though.
