why wld u do LFTs in a patient presenting wid left lower quadrant pain?? UW says they wanna rule out hepatitis....huh!!
in such a case wldnt u rather order LFTs first and if u find anything abnormal , then maybe order LFts

Some cases in UW are of Jealous Overtesting Syndrome (order too many tests)
