well this is what i knew but i got the same q wrong on UW, as i chose MRI but the ans was bone scan..(if i rememb right, isn't bone scan of better results for earlier dis) which is first investig for metast---Bone scan or MRI.. I know its bone scan, so u wouldn't just go doing a whole sceletal MRI, then followed by MRI in areas with high uptake to evalute extent..Is this right

Main problem for these two options is the cost of MRI... I recall MRI as the best test to Dx ostemyelitis, but if MRI is unavailable, then the Tc-bone scan is the option
