Hello I am starting this post because I think it will provide good information for us all in getting an idea of how many Qs can be marked (meaning unsure if it is correct) and the corresponding outcome.

I just took my exam and I marked anywhere from 3 to 10 questions per block averaging 6-8 per block.

I have nor received my scores yet. I look forward to your replies.

thanks you as well. I marked about 5-6 on my step 1 and scored 258 but this exam was much harder... loaded with neuro, psych, rheumatology, and Peds. I know I made silly errors so who knows. Only time will tell. Best of luck!

shoot for a 99!!!

I actually marked alot. maybe 10-15. I wanted to make sure that if there was something I was 50-50 about it would deserve a second look. I think in the end this was helpful, because I caught some of my mistakes and changed it.

question, is there really such a correlation between the number of questions you mark and your actual score? it seems to me this is on a purely case to case basis. your thoughts? good luck on your scores

just took mine yesterday
