I have came across few important questions ,so i would like to share them with you :

1- what is Beck Depression Inventory ?

2- Do we order ( orthostatic vital signs ) as a work up ,or do we perform them on the SP ,if so ,what are the maneouvres to be performed?

3- Is a (Sore throat) considered to be Pain ? i.e : do we apply the LIQORAAA on it ?

4- in the FA (2007) edition on page.78 : BNP is mentioned as a workup for Cough/shortness of breath case ... what is BNP ?

5- same book ,on page.81 : Carcinoid is mentioned as a workup?!!!!?? for palpitations ... what do they mean ? CT-for the abdomen ,serotonin levels ?? i didnt understand this ,i think its supposed to be a Differential not a workup !

6- on p.81 too : in the mini case of ( Weight loss ) they wrote : Complete physical exam !!!!!! !what do they mean by this ??? theres no time for a comprehensive exam ...

7- Should we put Anorexia ((nervosa)) as a differential for weight loss only (and only) if the patient was a female ?

8- i have read on a website ,that w/b/s is a question regarding vomitting and nausea .... what is w/b/s in this context ?!

I really appreciate your help guys ... i am really confused

#4 - Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) Test
Check for heart failure. Find out how severe heart failure is.
Check the response of treatment for heart failure.
