Hi All,
I gave nbme form 4 today got 390/190. My kaplan Q bank score is 58% in recent blocks ( I have done 40% of Q bank till now). I have to give exam in August end. so I have ~3wks in myhand to revise weak topics. & complete remaining Q abnk ( I have done remaining forms) Is this advisable move can I do it? If any tips at this stage for prep let me know.
Thanks.
~Sam

I think you can do it. If you work on your weak topics, and try to do as many questions as possible, really grasping the explanation. I suggest that you take another NBME about 7 days before your test date, and if the score has improved enough to get a passing grade FOR SURE, then I will take it. If not, I would postpone. Good Luck!

i haven't take the exam yet but from reading ppl posts and grades i don't think u problem is in passing coz i think u can pass , it's about the grade here
try to figure out what ur problem is ( refer to askdoc post he's good in that wink0 in order to know the best way to improve ur score in the shortest time'
have some moments of think when u go over the incorrect answers in ur q bank and figure out why they r wrong
is it becoz u never know that or u coldn't remmember or because u know the info but couldn't but it togather and couldn't THINK in the right way to get the right answer
depending on that u can determine wiether u have to proceed with doing more question or reviewing topic !
only if u find in two weeks time that u can't improve or if u have a grade as a goal and not just passing and u can afford postponding than u can do so but just for a month and two no more
otherwise try ur best in the time left that u have and aim for a resonable grade and go for it
