what do type in to ask the patient to follow up for prenatal assessment?

Also, if the patient comes in for some other complaints and beta hcg is positive....am i supposed to do all the basic labs in this visit, or treat the current condition first and then schedule a visit for prenatal assessment?

also, since she is coming in for some other complaints am i supposed to get a sonogram done NOW or later? and can we do a sonogram for any gesttaional age? I mean what is a patient comes in with LMP 3 weeks back , coming in for some other complaints and her pregnancy test is positive?

this is so confusing!!!!

also, in the software, when u type counsel...i came across..."counsel, pregnancy" ...what does that mean?

Means prenatal care exam, nutrition, drug..

For pregnancy case order followings before discharge:

Type then select

pregnancy consult
smoking
alcohol
seat belt use
multivitamin
folic acid
illicit drug use
