thank you all for making this place so beautiful and inspiring,i am taking step 1 on jan 08, so from now its 6 month, anybody wish to take it by that time,i am going to depend on kaplan and goljan patho,today i am planning to start the preparation with my heart and soul,yes, i have to do it,i am planning to read one subject at a time along with patho all the way as i heard its going to cover most,and finish the first reading by august,i wanna start with bio chem, with lippincot and kaplan notes,and planning to finish it by 5 days,thats till 3 rd of aug,if anybody have such same plan that can join,and and i hope all the ellites in the forum will help me in my jurney, thank you all, i will post later at night,

thanks keep going and study 449,i watch some anatomy and biochem videos,they are old but i think will helpful,now going to have my lunch, actually its dinner time,i live alone,so i am the king,feeling hungry,i am thinking of gone through all the video before start my first reading, that might helpful to recall some lost memory even chances are less i dont like anatomy, but today i dont know why the videos sound so sweet.

Also not anatomy fan, but like it on dvd & like to go through all subj on dvd b4 1st read .

hey clonidine we can prepare togeather, you can let me know the study plan,i had a wish to take you at late dec, but i have to left the idea now, i just start preparations. how much you finished? and vwilldoit may be it will come early sep or late august, i am waiting too, i will let you know,last but not the least shhope99.98 it will be my privilage to prepare with you,

Thank you man . You make me blush . Yes, anatomy is good to start with . Which part you're starting with, I'll start with histo , embryo in next week .
This week is already week end .
If you like there is big group doing anatomy Q , some near exm, some just study still , some restart after breaks , busy ... like me & others.
The group is at study partner forum...... call study partner for step 1 ... with so many pages.
Anyway, read LN, dvd any way around , keep it up . I usually read the LN with dvd on, that speed me up, but if you're at your 1st read LN , dvd,you'll need to write the notes from DVD in your extra new note books or sheets or 3 ring binder lined papers.

hey there!
if you're beginning your 1st read, do you think you'll manage biochem in 5 days? anyhoo, not trying to be discouraging to you, each person has his own pace after all. but it took me about 2 weeks.
my advice to you is this: do your first read well, really well. don't try to rush through the 1st one, thinking it'll save you time. on the contrary, you will lose a lot more time closer to the exam coz you didn't lay the groundwork well.

i had a perfect holiday today, a perfect weekend, moring went to date, then have a very good sleep, then marketiing, some snacks and coffee,hehe my preparation companions,
now i will study from 10 o clock, its 9 now,thanks paheli for your nice suggestions, i will remember that, yes i have to give some time in my first read,shwehope i will start from histology and next week i will do embyology, which tread you are talking about for the anatomy questions, thats sound nice.see you all later, paheli thanks again,your name sound good too

I GOT MY GRE RESULT, I GOT 1210, LOWER THAN I EXPECTED, ACTUALLY I WISHED BEFORE TO GO FOR HOSPITAL POLICY OR SOME MASTER IN HOSPITAL MANEGMENT THINGS AND IN THE MEAN TIME CLEAR THE STEPS,I THOUGHT THAT MIGHT HELPFUL TO GET ME A RESIDENCY. SO GUYS PLEASE DROP ME A LINE ABOUT THAT

Then will be saying , coming week is anatomy Q # so & so, you'll do self, them ask, discuss , tell your good, bad result, so good one will help bad one if need help.

Re; post grade, we have Target, done her PhD , not recently , now FT working. There might be some too . Best shot is ask at support forum here, if not right place , moderator will move that to right place, also ask at IMG world .
Friendly advice , if can effort it, no work, but study like a ......., then after all exm done or few step done, looking for work that related to usce or do usce in observer, extern etc even with some fees in legitamate hospital.
But if MPH, postgrad is back up or for survival , go ahead . Usually with the work, post grad that take time to sit for exm.
If you like, can ask , Aim ... FT job , Target too , some PT, some FT mom busier than anyone . Even me PT now, FT b4, but still time is not as good as not working.
But GOGETA, he worked FT, study , go for exm, some exception are there especially if you're still single, no family, children to worry for .
These are just example, everyone is different though with same situation, background from different situation, background.
What ever it is, aim is to pass exm if possible asap with high marks if not AMS AMG .
Even they are trying to get high marks, may be .

yaa, i am single, without any family,and really in real life i dont have family too,i am all single,put aside the MHA things now. we have to do the step 1 first then we will thing about others,

What a cuuute avatar!! It is such a furry li'l thing, feel like touching it!!
That is besides the point! Welcome to writing journals! Please do not think you are alone! Here we are one big family and we share our ups and downs in this struggle into residency. So I wish you good luck. If you plan well and execute, you should do great in 6 months. I was planning to do it in 6 mths but my first read is taking too long ...2 months overdue !! so don't be like me, just make a strategy and try to stick to it. I might end up taking it around your time frame!
By the way, 1210 is NOT a bad score at all. With the proper LORs and Personal statement, you should do well for getting into MPH/MHA.

have a very bad day with my with my books, i am very disappointed with myself,i was busy in some activites which other wise could have been easliy avoided,guy what the problem with me,i find it hard to stick my routine,i know without it i just can expect a disaster,last two days i really have done something, just gone through some anatomy in HY,
the biggest problem with me that i know i have something ,that i always believe in ,that can lead me to success, so i wouldnt give up,but at the same time my lazziness and lack of commitments will allways pulls me backward.but i still believe FOR ME, MY HEART IS THE STONGEST MUSCLE IN MY BODY.I have been grown single handedly by my mom,now its my turn to give her some thing,but it seems i usually forget this fact,its shamefull, i know,
What i allways do? try for a new start and after someday i again fall short of my goal,i am tired of the attemps i made every time i fall short.but i believe in miracles,and i dreams a lot,
good night guys,i will again stand up and this time i will try to rise to your expectations,stay with me , i wouldnt let you down and my mom,thank you
