Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Hi guys,

I have exactly four more weeks b4 I´ll sit for the exam.

I have done quite a few Kaplan Qs and always get like 65%. Today I bought UW and I just finished 50 Qs and got 55%. (Random Qs and timed) According to UW and Kaplan my score is exactly the mean of the other users at the site. Is that good enough or does it mean I am doing bad? I mean a lot of people are doing the Qs early, before having studied a lot, and push the mean down.

Any comments on my scores?

BTW I am planning on doing the NMBE test next week. Is it 200 Qs and that is that? Will I get a two number score just like on the real test?

What do you think about my scores and chances of doing well on the exam?

(55% UW and 65% Kaplan)

As I know, NBME is the best test to evaluate ourselves before the real Exam. I think I will do it next week, too. NBME test consists of 200 Qs w/o Ans, and it will give us the 3 number scores (max is 800) plus the evaluated sheet on your performance. You can compare those scores later on with 3 number score (max 300) as we will get when we do the real test. From that, we will know the approximate 2 number scores...

I am doing the same as you are. 3 weeks left and new Kaplan Qbank. Your scores are great for passing with mid 80s to early 90s, but it is up to many factors. UW is quite hard to have a score >70%.

Let's try and support each other!

GL
