Is it necessary to submit your CAF before Aug 1 for your documents to be scanned or can we send the documents(LOR, MSPE,etc.) now & submit the CAF before Sep 1? I am really confused .Please help.

I don't think the CAF is needed to be scan. CAF is the on-line application, which will be distributed to the programs you applied automatically. You just submitt before Sep1 in order to apply to the programs. It's just fine.
