Please say in each situation if they increase or decrease.
Thanks.

When you INCREASE the cut-off, what happens to:
Specificity
PPV
Sensitivity
NPV
False Positives
False Negatives

When you DECREASE the cut-off, what happens to:
Specificity
PPV
Sensitivity
NPV
False Positives
False Negatives

easy way to remmember:

When you INCREASE the cut-off--> decrease Sensitivity and increase specificity (decrease cut-off causes counter trend)

increase sensitivity---> decrease PPV and increase NPV (decrease sensitivity cause counter trend)

increase specificity--> increase PPV and decrease NPV (decrease specificity causes counter trend)
