Hi dear... plzz do not feel terrible... we all will pass it today or some other...somehow... give yourself a couple of break days to feel refreshened again and tell us about your situation ( working or not...old grad or new...) and lets make a program for you all together 
for biochem Kaplan was totally enough... I advise to add FA for sure ...and b4 starting the pathways...I advise to get familiar with the vitamins and the second messengers and the insulin/glukagon life which will help you to get the big picture b4 diving into details...Goljan audios touch a point in biochem in every lecture and widens your point of view in biochem... FA can be your MUST BE LEARNT list and dictionary

Don't worry I failed also, but I found the strength to pick my head up and try again and I think you CAN do this! What did you do for biochemistry last time? Have you read Lippincott Biochemistry? Was biochem your only low area? You may find higher yield in improving your performance in other areas also.

Did you watch bioch st 1 kaplan dvd old one with Dr . Raymond, with the kaplan LN book then write, listen everything he said .
One read then over & over till you get the picture, till understand it . But usually need 2 read kap LN with dvd at least .
Then review , so will recall at exm .
With kaplan LN, dvd, bioch is all memorizeing, recall after knowing concepts well .

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, YES I WATCHED DVD FROM KAPLAN AND ALSO READ DE LIPPICONT SERIE FOR BIO, BUT I GUESS I HAVE TO MEMORIZED, BY ANY CHANCE DO YOU KNOW SOMEBODY IN MIAMI FLORIDA THAT MIGHT WANT TO STUDY IN GROUP, WELL THANK YOU VERY MUCH, TO ALL OF YOU... thank you

Post at study partner for step 1, there are some miamian looking for study partner recently .
We all said all good books, together all that more than enough , you already on 2 big one, kaplan, lippin , so just review alot, draw the pathways etc well inmemory mind or chart or flas card.
By the way thought 1st anxious , post to get attention , so post in all capital , but to release the tention , do not forget to unlock the caps lock on left hand side ..on top of the X-rated key sound alike s.... key , if not pronunced complete v. well .

3- have clear goals and face the demon again call USMLE
My example, I took the test many years ago, and FAIL the test , I was so in shock that I decided not to think about it again, I even tought I have PASSED the test, and the reality was another one, then I took the courage to go again and face the BEAST, and I was able to schract the beast but I did not die

Dear Herbalife: A failure does not mean defeat. Rest for a while and then when you are ready to rock again go for it. My thoughts on this failure are that I don't think it was based on biochem, in fact biochem is not heavilly tested on step 1. I advice you to spend more time on physio, pharm and patho offcouse. If you fill you have big issues with biochem study from kaplan and FA as some have told you but NEVER memorize, if you do this you will forget in the exam with the pressure that you will have...understand..otherwise you will not remember it. Memorizing is never a good thing. Take care and good luck...please let us know if you need any advice on your new prep. Try to identify what might gone wrong the last time and start from there.
