A 40-year-old male presents to the emergency room with a six-hour history of intermittent palpitations and headache. He says he feels like his heart is beating so fast that it might pop out of his chest. He also tells you he has a feeling of doom. On exam, you find that he is a thin, anxious-appearing man who is very diaphoretic, with a pulse of 117 and a blood pressure of 185/105. The patient's chest X ray is within normal limits, and his EKG shows sinus tachycardia. He has elevated plasma catecholamine levels. What would you expect to find on an abdominal CT of this patient? A. Abdominal aortic aneurysm B. Bilateral adrenal masses C. Two small renal cysts on the right kidney D. Unilateral adrenal mass E. Unilateral renal artery stenosis
