is it weird that I have sincerely NO CLUE what type of residency I want to goto? I keep changing my mind...first ObGYN, then INt med, they psych...then back int med oh inbtwn I wanted to go into pediatrics...then neurology...
the only thing I know I can't get into is surgery....predestined frm childhood...can't work a needle n' thread...nor can I make a straight salad...I should lay out pics for all u guys if I ever cut tomatoes or carrots...they're crooked!!

hard to imagine that so many of the folks are at different places now. we should keep bumping this up intermittently, say every 3months or so, to see where we're all at.

Is it a good idea to make real friends out of good forum friends?
For the last couple of months ive been mainly at home, not seeing many people, just books, TV, forum and so on. Sometimes i just get to see my friends once a week or so. On the other hand, on the forum im chatting with some of you on a daily basis or atleast hearing from you every single day!
What do you think, is it a good idea or not? if some day you had a chance to meet on of us, would you do it?

I can swear by my own experience that it is a FABULOUS idea to make real good friends out here at the forum, cos I did send a pm to one, met up and we have hit it off so well [Well I am hoping you agree my dear friend...you know who you are ] then I have several others whom I haven't met but we talk regularly, motivate each other....all in all an EXCELLENT way to build a support system so all thanks to prep4usmle!!!
Coming to the update....hmmm wellll...still stuck in Step 1 prep....crawling but yet to run....but bottom line is... I AM CRAWLING ALONG....so I guess that's what matters
