Can anyone please give me an example of PEARSON and SPEARMAN Correlation. Pearson- compares two interval... Spearman- compares two ordinal... Need a real life example to understand and remember it.

Ok, Pearson compares two interval data. for example age and height. (height and weight are positively correlated -inc height inc weight) Spearman? compares two ordinal level variables........ Can anyone give examples. Ordinal means things like gold, silver, and bronze medals or 1st 2nd and 3rd place. But I can't think of a medical example...
