How does one apply for eras token ?? i mean whatz the procedure ???.........how long does it take to get it ??.........plzzz someone tell me how to go about this whole application, as i m really sacred as donot know how to begin it ???

You should go to ECFMG/OASIS- log on to your account with your USMLE ID number. Once you are logged in your account, on the left side there is a link "Request Eras Token". Follow the instructions. Cost = $75. I got mine in one day (they inform you per email I think), but if there are lot of requests it may take longer. Once you have it you can apply for an AAMC ID(go to ERAS/myERAS, register)- this is the only purpose of the token, you don't need it afterwards. Once you have established your MyERAS account you can work on your profile, personal statement, apply to programs, designate LORs etc...be sure to spend a lot of time to go through every section just to make sure you're not missing anything.

Thanks Medicus_81....i guess u really are a blessing rt now , as i thought that i was late for taking teh token  ............ya i applied already ,lets see when i get it now !!!..........thanks for all the advice .
