Thank you very much, you are great Your score can get you into alot of residencies, here's a PDF showing about 400 residency programs indicating their preferences as regards to Score, us experience, years since graduation etc... I would love to share that with you in apreciation for what u have done for alot of us. Thanks a million Fayza

hi dtrmnd... God ! I was just back in those days for a second :teary eyes smiley: :P I have only one kid , and I manage time by studying in the library , I stay there from 9 AM to 9 PM and out of this , I study like 10 hrs a day ... I leave Kerem , my cuuuutest son , to play-school in the morning , hes now 4.5 ... and either dad or granma picks him , and I take him home at 9 :15 PM .. I spend 2 hrs with him every evening ... we play read run everything he wants to do .... again like step 1 I explaied him very clearly why I have to leave him and what this hard work will bring us ... he understand better now we very tightly stick to this schedule every single day including weekends...if ever I can finish my schedule earlier in the day , I spend sometime out with my dear dear husband... all our luxury is seeing a movie or having brunch somewhere ... I clean up and cook after midnight when my son goes to sleep.... as you see this is an unbearable unhuman schedule , but I have to do that bc if I keep things too long, I lose focus and get bored .... I like things to be done asap, so I keep like this like 3 mo and it will be over inshAllah if I can pass....some friends prefer 6 hrs a day for 10 months but thats not me soooo... as I have no life , time management is no problem at all plz plz lemme now whenever you need anything .... best luck ...

Hi mommies! how are you all and how does the studying go? so this is it! I have to start studying now. I work part-time to have some time for that and I don't know how to start, what to start with, what do I need, how should I make a plan. Time is a big issue... I still have to work 3 days a week and when the babies get home I just want to spend time with them because I miss them the whole day while they are at the day care. And at the end of the day when they sleep I usually fall asleep too and if i try to read something it feels like i am a wheel spinning in the air ( you know that feeling, when you do something but it feels like nothing moves) instead of spinning on the ground and make me move forward. But I really want to do it, i want to study and I want to get this license. So , from now on, I will join you moms and everybody else who studies for these exam and hope and look for the best!

Delphi, you are not alone. I just joined the forum but I am a mom too, and I know that feeling very, very well. i have been out of school for 3 years and I have a 3 yers old son and have been really difficult to me going back to those books. But you know what??? We have being tru a lot, I know it because being in the medical field is not easy, and we were strong there... at school... studieng...fighting against everything to be what we wanted to be. Yes.... we did it. And now that we are mothers we need to be stronger than ever, b/c now is not only for us but also for our kid. So come on girl!!!! take that book and drink that coffe I will be in the same ride with you, so we will support each other.

Hi girls,I am also in this group.I am out of medical school for 2 yrs.I have a 15 month old boy.Now I am staying away from my family to do the observership. Its a rural area and is 6hrs away from my home.My son is with my hubby and inlaws.I will be going every week to meet my little family.Miss my dear baby a lot.Sometimes i even think if its worth all the sacrifice. But i feel this is only for a short time.I wanna give my best try this year. The rest is with the God.If he wants me to be a doc,I will match.Or else i might be good in some other profession. So let us share the joys, tension, sorrows in this match season.

Hi ladies, I just wanted to say that it was good to know that there are other mom md. Delphi, yes you are not alone. I know how you feel, I am a stay home mom for now , and IMG graduated last year in my country and I came back to stay with my dear husband and 2 y old girl here where we live. I know it is hard to study sometimes, but what works for me is take breaks to study few pages of my Kaplan books when my 2 y old is singing or watching her favorites videos ( not too much during day) and start again for 4 hours at night after playing, feeding and bathing her ( around 8pm).... I know it is hard since I am 8 months pregnant with our 2 and last baby and with the hope of taking my step 1 in December when my baby boy will be 3 months. It is going to be my 1st attempt and I am willing to get at least 95 ( maybe I am a dreamer)...I feel so tired some days but I know God has a reason for everything and if I do my best I will get something. Just going some good things take time....but being a mom and a doctor is wonderful and I think we can do it. Have a blessed day....and pray for me this pregnancy is harder than the first one but I want to stilll keep studying as much as I can.

Hey jhmd!! We all are dreamers!!!! we all are willing to get at least 95, and that is a good thing, because the higher you dream the higher you get!!! I will be prayng for all of us and for all ours babies, 'cause girl... we all riding the same horse and i know how hard it is. In my case i have so many issues with my husband and that is a headache too, bacause i not only have to deal with the facts that i have been out of school for so long, i have a 2 years old son, i don't have a job, i am far from my family, but also a marriage problem, tha is probably more than what i can handle. But we are here fighting for our dreams, and we are going to get there, we just need to be strong and keep looking forward, god is with us.
