JUST DROPPED BY TO SAY :
During my prep time was soo limited that I couldnt pop in here  now I was just looking around in the forum and came here to see..... WOOW ! everyone of my dearests has their journals !!
I wanted to drop a line or two to all but that seemed endless and decided to write here that : DOCS ! I LOVE YOU ALL AND YOU ALL SEEM TO DO GREAT JOB HERE AND I WILL SILENTLY BE READING AND PRAYING FOR YOU ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sis, not too late to tell your prep here as journal as by date back the way , day study , books, material, style, Q use for us & good record here to put up your journal.
Can even copy , paste some of your post here for prep daily journal ,exm day experince to vacation you cope with post exm stress , waiting while vacationing & also answering us with keep intouch with all here to keep self occupied busy with doing good jobs helping us with sane , till to pass day
When I saw this I thought , is she post wrong in here instead of in st 2.
At least you open your journal here only after we know that you've passed already .
Thanks for your support, advice & guide.
Please do come here , often at your journal here, so we can ask Q or support as good sis advice from you .

no my score didnt arrive yet and Im about to be finished up with my patience resources and no more dwells to dig and look for
I didnt write it all bc I wrote it all through the forum here and there and I know all of you sweeties read them and supported me all through my way so I thought to repeat it all was useless ...and Im scared to get the feeling BIIIIGGY just bc I passed in front of my friends an God ...you know what I mean...but still if it will help any of you to bounce I will willingly write it all

hey my friends....I wanted to share something I started to do with the ones who are in real lack of time like me...
I have two months so I dont seem to have time to revise every topic twice again but I have to ! so path for example...its too long and will take my 7-8 days for a full review so I decided I will revise 2 pages of FA path EVERYDAY with my textbook open in front of me...then Ill see 10 Qs from Qbank...thats half an hour...
Then my weakest area...pharm...Ill revise one topic everyday...like for example...antivirals...only one topic not a chapter...and thats like 15 minutes...
then the third is micro Qs...I was not able to spare extra days on micro+imm Qs so Ill see 10 Qs everyday...timed... and thats another 15 min...
that means...by sparing an hour everyday...my weak points will be revised in a month + this in day switches give my brain the opportunity to refresh
anddd...if I stick to this plan and never ignore my ""pleasee Stay Connsistent On Them" s..... I may have a better chance to pass...
what do you think ???

I mean..in the exam...are the Qs directly from UW explanations ? or is it only to get the Q types ?? or something else I cant see ??

you can prepare twice till october dude !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keep cool...its great time...minimize your sources...do Qs ...stay calm... I did my first read 1.5 years ago...I was feeling like this 4 months ago when I discovered this forum...when I looked at Qs here I was freakin out cuz I was away even from ABCs...the forum gave me the necessary bounce up energy and I did my sec read in 2 months just keep calm but accept that u gotta be on your table like 8 hrs a day then like 10 last month !! my exam is in june 20 ... the day youre done with your sec read if I dont extend it
so october is real real real enough ...maybe better cuz youll use short memory...just shake and start !!!!!!

Im in the library for 12 hrs a day including weekends ...thats #1 ...only bath coffee and food break ...at home + 1-2 hrs more...
only and only Kaplan...and FA..
never stuck to something I had difficulty to understand...just left it there and looked back again at home...saw I got it better then...
I did memorize things that will stick but left short memory requiring stuff... no Qs only the end chapter Qs in Kaplan...
when I started to be able to make connections...it became more fun..so trust me second read will be great ...just be quick
only and only very basic stuff...no details...Im not aiming 99 but but still hope I dont regret this in the exam...
now I started UW... sligtly tense...on the verge of deciding if Ill extend it for a month or not
btw...I checked it and saw I started the second read in April 7...so its not 2 mo but 2.5...
the longer it takes the more boring it gets...you lose focus..
now I have a good concept of every subject but I dnt feel comfy cuz I dont have time for a last read...you know...u finish it ALL once and give a last complete shot...no time for that so there r gaps...idk if it will be good to extend or not
what else?? bombard me honey... no problem... but I dont wanna mislead you and then get 70 so lets wait what Ill do first ...but thats the point...when u take long...like I felt very like you...you feel you dont know anything...you lose confidence...you dont feel devoted and deserving enough even when praying if I ever pass Ill like SHOUT IT LOUD ....PLZZZZZZZZZZZ DONT TAKE IT LONG
so back to you drshero...ur in just great time do it !!!!
tell me friends...shall I extend it...aaaaaaah how can you know plzzzzzzzzzzzz dont tell me get NMBE ...its my phobia...no desensitization therapy allowed

dont do them at the end of every subject read...do them at the end of every subject CRAMMED MEMORIZED LEARNED BY HEART AS IF THE EXAM IS TOMORROW ! you will see the difference ...and that will make your second read very quick...by the way this is your first read (lets say we dont count your first first read :P and lets say it was only orientation ) so the Qs are little flash cards for you to stick the subjects to your brain ..no worries ...if I had the exam in oct...I would go on but definetely take notes...otherwise you wont be remembering anything 3 months later...then do UW with the second again with notes...then 3rd all together...

Im a snail...a turtle...a whatever your mind reminds you of the word SLLOOOOWWWWWW its synonym to FEYZA ! rite ! u got me ?? so IF I PACED UP...EVEN A REAL TURTLE CAN EAT HIS SHELL AND PACE UP ! trust me...
dont dictate your brain that its slow !! your brain is a pipe with two open ends...youre filling it from the upper end and down it goes away...you should be soo quick that you should put back b4 all goes away and the pipe is empty !!
BUT quick does NOT mean read and pass ...just read quick, learn ,memorize the imp things ...check...feel good on the subject ? yes?? ok move ! no?? again !! repeat for 10 times if necessary ...but 10 times quickly ! hope I can make it clear wut I mean by quick

ABOUT MICRO :
I never did Qbank from micro...only 25 Qs I guess... and my second read was like my first cuz the first was 1.5 years ago along with the DVDs (but I did this really carefully and made notes ) and I had 8 days for it ! so it was pure pain ... Kaplan micro + FA is fabulous ...I can assess this cuz I could answer most NBME Qs here on the forum after that 8 days ... I was like 12 hours * 8 days !
ok .. I did the first general info chapter in half a day ...then made charts... gr (+) (-) aerob anaerob .....a huge one with cute colors ... RNA / DNA (+) sense (-) sense ...
then started reading them one by one with the chart in front of me...once all ...close eyes...cant repeat...damn !! once more...close eyes...yay !! I can say at least 5 sentences on each bug ...ok add FA ... 4. day third read ... the sand started to settle in the fourth day !
fungi are easy stuff..
parasites ... stupid little jerks !!! made me cry ! dont freak out when you see those boring tables in Kaplan ...I suggest make your own complete notes... and read them twice .. just wake up early and do it as if u have your final exam on parasites in med school
VIRUSES MADE ME SOB ! THE CLASSIFICATION THING ! JUST MAKE A VERY NICE COMPLETE CHART SO IT CAN BE HANDY IN YOUR LAST READ ...
then immuno...kaplan gives it soo step by step that its real fun and easy to understand if you concentrate ! 3 days enough
so I guess in June 10...or 11 u must be done with micro
I kept telling myself that micro Qs are straigtfwd so do it well and count them like Qs in your pocket !

I could do nothing but smile...
Im in my rapid review at a making-dizzy pace u know and I reviewed path from skin towards general path and I came across to notes I took while I was studying metastatic calcification in my first read ...I couldnt believe but I made mneumonics to MEMORIZE the causes of met calc ...bc I didnt even know the details of Ca metabolism...PTH...milk alkali ...couldnt decide which smilie I should put here maybe maybe as I know them now...maybe
anywaysss...that was in april not long away...what I wanted to share is my progress both gives gives me hope and on the other hand scares me like hell as I have still a lot to learn...
still...I feel less panic then a few days ago and hereby I confess that Im ready to face the consequences of my behaviours and GOD ILL GO INSANE IN THESE 9 DAYS lol
so the beginners over there reading me and feeling desperate not knowing where and how to start !! PLZZ JUST GET STARTED IN A DEDICATED WAY AND LET YOURSELF SEE HOW DAMN GOOD YOU CAN PROGRESS !!! but dont do what I did and do realistic schedules about timing

isther ! remember how I learnt to divide the days to pages and pages to minutes from you. I was even lacking the basic ABC info those days ..yes I learned a lot and did my best but I feel ppl deserving 80+ did better and this feeling is killing me but Ill do what you say and give a last try !
