Thank god im done with cs. passed yeh. now i can read something. was o worried fr the last week. n now im soo happy . may be my ck result will also turn out to be a good one.
for now i should concentrate on step 1. reading renal from FA. FA seems small but its not.. specially when u r reading it as the main book it has soo many things. 29 percent of uw remains. i need to be real quick. no more time wasting n no more worrying. i still can do it. i will update after i finish renal n may be reproductive too.

finished uw atlast. happy about it but have only 10 days. now im revising teh wrong qs. my score at end is 65. so depressing but wt can i do now. o will try to revise it all again randomely n read teh educational objectives and FA.

thanks kity.ur words charged me again. i was thinking i should go to sleep but now i feel like studying more. hehhe. i just opened kaplan physiology after having lwo scores on that again n again but im afraid i dont have time. wt should i do? may eb tonight i will try reading as much as i can. already done FA. n from tomorrow final revision starts. n also pray for my ck result..............

just got my score. 93. good one specially when i dint spend any time in studying. i should work on step one to get the same score ......

im just persuading myself to take an NBME. i dont know for some unknown reason nbme scares me more than the real exam. n i should take it tomorrow so that i can postpone my exam without fees ...............just in case u know.. i get a shameful score...confused.
well. time to study now. no time to think either.coz even if i postpone it i can hardly do it for one more week.will start revising from FA now. les start biochem....again. i hate it. i really hate it n im enver going to read it again inshallah after the exam. les finish it once n then do uw section of biochem. see if i can make it work,

u r wise but u know we all have our own circumstances. for me with a growing baby(8 months ) its becoming harder to study so i want to finish it n start something . otherwise with each passing day living at home rust ur abilities to work in a competetive environement atleast for me. may not be true for some other ladies. ive seen many doctors who take a break of many years for kids n yet they go n do well.
doing final revision. n redoing the wrong qs.

only five days left..........
im so scared. revising. physiology is my worst area NOW. teh weak areas keep changing.
doing qs n revising .
doing embryo. i should finish micro today along with qs.les start again.

the best thing is that im going home soon after the exam. its so exciting but i shoud not let it distract me.

p.s. even though it is so close to your exam, i think you should consider changing our journal name from 'can i do it??' to 'i CAN do it!!' that's much more confident and affirmative!!

hope your days going SUPERB.. with all the cramming req for last min ...
path was mostlyy covered in CK.. so just cram all biochem, micro, genetics, mol. bio & you are all set.. I wish I too had started st 1 just after St2 as I have forgotten soo much in just 2 months gap..
will pray for you.. go for it with confidence..

no im not doing nbme it scares me a lot n besides ive no time to do it with the baby.the only day when my husband can keep the baby is the exam day n its hard to do at night.so im just revising stuff as u said., micro,immunology,biochem n physio. the most worrisome is physio. will soon be back with an exam experience i guess. my god it all went so fast. i dont knwo how this month just flew infront of my eyes.

Hi doc-o8, I understand how difficult you are on when studying with a baby. But it seems you are trying hard and doing good on your prep. If you can't do NBME online, just take a quick look at Qs of NBME offline version. It helps. Do not forget USMLE CD too.
Who knows you can encounter some of them on your Exam day. Good luck! Knowing that you were doing good on your step 2CK and CS, so is this time also counted.

its so hard to stay focussed in teh last few days for me. every time teh same happens to me. trying to do pharma since morning but just couldnt finish it although read it very well twice but still its like a hell. doing q bank qs instead. good method of revision with fa. qs always help me. i can retain better if i do qs. did alot of qs on teh forum. they r not very bad. but who knows. i may get a good set of qs............................. or no. no negative thoughts. i already put alot of effort in this and now i wont give up. okay. les start again. will do pharma with qs n then start cardio . see if i can finish till night. hope my son sleeps early n doesnt wake up till morning then i will be fine.

okay
two more days. saw the qs yuna sent me. she/he is just great. n i was a bit relaxed. those qs r not as bad as UW qs. that is just so depressing. did kaplan q bank at last. so im all set...will try to finish FA today but seems unrealistic.tomorrow will try to revisee some micro charts,viruses,biostats n cell n mol biology plus drugs n their mech of actions.. soo much to do.. les start.
