All the questions iv posted are from the BRS book latest edition, ill note down which answer is correct in numerical order and which page the question is at. Im not going to post the explanation unless requested.

This stockbroker is showing eviidence of dissociative identity disorder (formerly multiple personality disorder). She does not remember the man who signed the letter or posing for the photograph because these events occurred when she was in another personality. Dissociatitve amnesia involves a failure to remember important info about oneself, and dissociative fugue is amnesia combined with sudden wandering from home and taking on a different identity. Depersonalization disorder is a persistent feeling of detachment from one’s own body, the social situation or the environment (derealization). None of those disorders involves multiple personalities.
