according to BRS beh sci book,page 24
this is normal grief reaction[bereavement]
where there can be
-minor wt loss[1-3 pounds]
-minor sleep disturbances
-some guilty feelings
-Illusions[thimking that seeing deceased person briefly]
-attempts to return to work & social activities
-cries and expresses sadness
-severe symptoms resolve within 2 mths
-moderate symptoms subside within 1 yr
-treatment includes increased calls and visits to the physician,"supportive psycho therapy" ,and short acting benzodiazepines for temparary sleep problems.
This case-
-died 8 months ago[less than 1yr]
