If someone can give an opinion about some additional books for step2, I have heard form people who are doing internship they studied Kaplan books, UW + to it: Blueprints, USMLE 2 secrets, Nail the Boards, Crashstep2. Please, give some advice. Thanx

i am in no position to give advice on books since i am just starting my preparation just like you but i will share with you the information i was able to collect so far from friends and exam experiences the most recommended reference seems to be CMDT the most recommended additional IM book seems to be Step-up to Medicine secrets is a very good book, a quick read when you are bored FA seems to be the most recommended review book, but review books are not as helpful for step2 as they were for step1 blueprints are not recommended, case file series seem to have very good reviews, especially the ob/gyn one, they are not complete but a very good read like secrets

CMDT is a very good book but about 2 inches thick, so keep it more as a reference if you don't prefer searching Medline, up to date, or emedicine online. Crush step 2 and Step 2 Secrets have the same content albeit in a different format (Secrets is Q&A format, Crush is regular text). Either of them is a very high yield review for last-days-before-the exam cramming. Step-Up to Medicine is a also a good book with some sample cases presented along the discussion of diseases. I think it's best to use it to keep your review organized or as an in-depth review book in the weeks prior to the exam. My advice: study Kaplan notes very well and do the Qs banks in tutorial/review mode first time and then in the test mode once or twice and you'll be fine.
