Hi there:
I have been working with a Family Physician at his office for last couple of months.. I have been taking histories, doing physicals, taking papsmears, etc (volunteer). That physician is agreed to write this on LOR and says all is OK if I worked under his supervision even without insurance.....

Can someone please shed light on it? What type of experience would it be; externship or observership......I have read somewhere on this forum that PDs don't appreciate if someone had handson experience without insurance/license to practice and especially if this is not in a hospital setting.... Is it right?

Should I stop him writing about all this in my LOR and stick to OBSERVERship thing or menioning about that would be in my advantage??????
Thanks!
