After a successful rush for Steps 1, 2 CK and 2 CS (what a relief!), I've just registered for Step 3.
Considering that now I can study easily, I am planning to sit for the exam by the end of October.
If anybody has plans of doing the same, please drop a line so we can motivate each other.
Plan is to use primarily First Aid and Usmle World, maybe something else for specific topics as needed.
Cheers!

Hi robin and chand, I also got my permit this week, scheduled it for Oct 20 and 22.
chand, try to regain your confidence, step 3 will be the LAST exam for us to get our full medical privileges in US.
Next week I start studying FA and should subscribe UW around the 20th.
Keep in touch.

Tomorrow: Finish Gastroenterology and subscribe UW

hello!I am also licensed finally. However i would have to use the approach u used for ur step1 and 2 for this exam as i have to do it asap before my baby is born. I would just like to ask a few questions about the applic 1 is the certificate of Id the only thing i have to send to fsmb after i fill my applic online? 2 the dates for my exams, am i supposed to write the date i took the exam or the date my score was reported? 3 Is it necesary to fill in intended specialty? 4 from what i understand, i can register with the connecticut board and do my exam anywhere,is this correct 5 about how long does it take to process the applic. thanks alot i'll ask other ques as i go along.I need to submit my applic asap

1. That's the only document I sent (and it worked) 2. I wrote the date I took the exam (but I guess they don't care that much about this precision) 3. No 4. Yes, that is correct (although I've heard that they're trying to fix that window, but I don't know anything else other than this rumor) 5. Once I sent the notarized applicant ID form, it took around 4-5 days
Good luck!

FA + UW is all I am/will use (will subscribe UW only in the last 30 days, actually). I am reading FA section by section, will start answering questions only in a few weeks (to save money in UW subscription).
I used one on a UPS Store on Brookline Ave (the closest I found near Harvard Medical School), but if you use Google Maps and write "Notarized" and your zip code, you should be able to find one near you).
It costed me 5 bucks (the first thing I've paid less than 200 dollars for USMLE/ECFMG matter)

Back to track, finished Gastroenterology and changed my mind: already subscribed UW (both MCQ and CCS cases) for 60 days.
Tomorrow: begin Neurology and a few MCQs.
