Hi guys... I would really appreciate any help, any opinion you might have about my case. I´m an IMG graduated in 2005. Took step 1 (240/97) and step 2 cs (passed) and now preparing CK. After finishing school, I did a year for my country´s liscense where I gained a lot of experience and did a lot of research... I don´t have USCE, though. My husband has almost the same background I do, just that he was the top student of our class in med school (I was 3 or 4th) and he already took Step 2 CK (and got 99/249)... we even got the same step 1 score... well, this is the issue... we were thinking about applying for next years match in couples match, but I am 8 months pregnant and havent taken CK... planning to take it either before the baby comes, in august or in september... I even payed my token for this match... but ppl has been telling me that I should consider to apply for 2009 match because first there are chances that we dont match together (but well, our records are so alike I dont know why would they pick just one of us, but thats a possibility)... and second, being both first year resident would be hard having a 10 month old child... personally I KNOW it would be hard, but it will be hard no matter how old the baby is... I really dont know what are the options for child care, I´ve never lived in the US and dont know how hard would it be to get someone to take care of baby while doing shifts and so... but delaying it for another year, would it make a difference???? PLEASE I NEED AN ADVISE!!! And thanks for reading, I know it got long smiling face
