When are you guys planning to take the test?
I might try on December or earlier.

i m so glad you are here ... i read your post about step 1 and i was really disappointed , i have been a silent observer , but couldnt stop from welcoming you to step 2

and as regards blueprints ...i dont think so... as i m planning to take my test in oct ..which is 3 months ... just thinking of kaplan n usmle world ..
i think that is what rocks in usmle

Just noticed ur popularity last week during the whole step 1 brouhaha.Thank God u passed after all and congratulations.
I'm here and i'm keen on this party.
Mine is scheduled for 2nd week of august but i'm thinking of rescheduling bc i'm unprepared and my step 1 score discouraged me from further gambling.
i'm reading only FA,Kaplan medicine and doing UW bc i have a 9 to 5 job so i can't do more than this with the available time.
what r ur thoughts?

Hey Im also with job
Im reading kaplan notes for IM then try to do some kaplan questions just to practice.
then after that I will try to do UW, after I have a really good idea about everything.
What have you guys heard about FA for step2? I heard that is not as good as FA for step1 and that people buy them because of the popularity and HY it is for step1.

hi gogeto i was following your posts although i wasnt waiting for my results or anything but i cant say anything than that you guys are really supportive..and congratulations im on too i just started preparing 1 week ago and im schedualed for beginning of october crazy yeah:eek i started with surgery although not internal medicine trying to get into the mood.. its kaplan and usmle world for me only although i have crush but after reviewing the posts it seems that everyone disapproves... so im thinking of sticking to kaplan and doing as many questions as i can.. i welcome any suggestions

i' m reading Kaplan 4 IM and the rest in FA + UW.
Don't know much yet Gogeta so we might be on the same frequency.
Have decided to take it in a month instead of 3wks so I intend to go insane over the next 4 weeks.It's war time.99 here i come!!!!!!!!
How do u want to do the review thing.

well lets get started and aim to finish as quick as possible
by the way hold on to kaplan and do usmle world at the same time ..i mean put it on tutorial mode and then when doing for instance 20 questions read the explanations and then review these topics from kaplan.
this will help you staying focused and wont forget the questions neither the topic reviewed,,,,i think much better than just going through papers in a book..
after you finish all the questions in usmle world in a certain topic you can do them again timed mode and then jump to a new subject...it will save you time and energy and when your over you can do all usmle world timed ...i mean exam circumstances..
any other suggestions welcome..gl
