First of all I will like to thank GOD for giving me the wisdom for passing the test.
After many years working in the USA, I could not dedicate time for the exams and every day it was something new in my life so I WANT to say this to the people that are like me.
Just do it, you will have the following 3 common denominators and they are:
1- What are you doing?
2- Have you pass the exams?
3- Time that have Passed
These are the three questions that no matter what is going on in your life you have to ask your self.
Listen forget the time you have waisted, the times you have failed, just be positive and try. Its not easy but you need to get into study mode, its like taking a bath or brushing your teeth, no matter what you have time for that, well the same idea you need time for the exam.
I will not go thru all the things I went thru but just read my journal and you will see.
As I said Im not superman or Gogeta but Im just a regular guy with a fulltime job, that has to drive a hour or so to work send money to his family and is totally alone in USA.
This forum is the best, my family don’t understand and they just say, so so and so PASS the test o you remember so and so she is in residency in USA, whats wrong with you?
Or they think you are rich because you are in USA, so this forum is your own little USMLE world place.
I repeat Im not the best just a guy that try to be honest and help people because the same way I help people other people have help me.
I had a 330 on NBME 4 = 10 weeks before my test.
I had a 370 on NBME 3 = 5 weeks before the test.
I had a 450 on NBME 1 = 4 weeks before the test.
I had a 55% on Kaplan simulated 2 days before the test.
I had a 48% on UW.
USMLE step 1 grade PASS, who cares if is 99 or 75 it’s a PASS and Im greatfull for that.
But if you must know I got what I tought I got a 76 or 187.
So as you can see Im just human and do not have super powers, just a regular joe with a fulltime job and A LOT of problems alone in USA.
Again GOD thank you for the PASS.
i will help people if they still want the advise from a 76 guy LOL

Congratulations !!! 
GL on step2 ... sure you will do much better on it cuz now you know the rules of the game. Have some time off then get back to the books buddy. You need a good score to enroll in a decent program perhaps after that you could solve all your personal and family problems and hopefully you wouldnt need any body any more from there on.
I would like to meet you some day.

Even thought you don’t know me, I prayed along with everyone else on this forum that you would at least pass. You have certainly made quite an impression on me.
