First day---terrible exp.
Most of the questions I wasn't sure with the answer and had to use common sense.It wasn't related to how hard you study since I knew almost all the things about particular questions but the choices were so confusing ,so it means you have to know each and everything about the disease from practical aspect,even if you know the diagnosis and t/t it may not help so try imagining that you are the patient of that partcuar disease and ask questions to your self that you may ask to doctor and look for all the answers that come in you mind .I think that should also be included in our preparation along with speed and lots of questions and for that before starting preparation start looking for common question from the patients,not in ideal situation.
I may not be so good in expressing what I want to say but you guys can interpret well and study hard,with lots of concentration,will not get a chance to think at all on any question since all 7 blocks were full of lengthy questions and I had to guess last question in 4 blocks and last 3-4 question first line,last line ,anything important in between and answer.
I cannot sya how I did,but just picked up the obvious answer,am so worried .I don't know what will happen but just want to help everyone over here with this exp.
Second day---much better at leat I could finish the blocks in time and I guess I could answer most of the questions but definitely there were many diffuicult and confusing choice questions too,so again can't say anything about that.
CCS case---
First intussusception---did everythingbut didn't ook at the time and was about to advance the clock how patient is doing and case ended.
AAA10cm
Eclamsia
PID
DKA
PAnic Disorder
Sigmoid diverticulitis with BPH
Pulmonary embolism
liver failure with ascites( diabetic Patient)
most ofthe cases finishd earlier but missed one or two invetigation to order here and there,but all patient got better.
I PID I forgot to order preg test and then realised and ordered beforestarting antibiotic although it was negetive and was in so much hurry that forgot to see the order list where I had already ordered hcg but it was serum--by mistake but it was too late to realise I should have checked it earlier,I don't know what will happen ,otherwise did everything right.
DKA did evrything but forgot to order ABG--biggest mistake,patient got better and before I could move him to PICU case was over.
In pulm embolism did evrything and got high probability in V/q scan but still ordere spiral CT thought they want to know if I knew that It is the most preferable test now a days and if you have high suspicion you can directly go for spiral CT, but wanted to let them know that I knew about v/q too.
I don't know I am feeling so terrible at that point but don't want say anything bad and will pray to GOD and will hope for the best.
Please tell me if anybody had the similar exp. and paseed.

my experience is same like ogggn
only my mcqs were worse than hers
and my ccs cases were horrid,,,,,
so if she is praying to pass,,,,i dunno what to say

Hey move along.Ibelieve in one thing dont loose hope till the end ,so we did whatever we could now its all in god's hand.He is the only one one who can change peoples lofe the way he wants.So just pray and forget everything.
I am doing the same thing.I will pray for you too.
I will have to have faith in god.
Residency08,Thanks,please pray for me I really need that. I used kaplan step3 and step 2ck notes(just one quick review just to see if anything new).
Umcqs and ccs ,kaplan qbank(one quick review of all the questions with tutor mode),uw123ccs,,FA,few topics crush).Lets see what happens.

Hi oggn and move along and all those preparing for step-3,
its the same feeling after coming out of this exam,my mcqs were long second day I could not see 3-4 mcqs in 2-3 blocks but its ok,ccs was ok too,practice the common cases,you will do fine on that aspect,as always even guy who gets 99 thinks he would fail,but hope we all three myself,oggn and move along will get the pass,thank you all for your support,good luck

one more thing I did kaplan q bank and UW,
I cant say which was closer to real exam but quality of questions posed in both kaplan and UW is just right,dont forget to do NBME,CCS cases in UW was really helpful,I am asking you to use UW questions as study tool and Kapln Q bank as your assessment,thats all I can say,crush FA and xyz dont matter have in depth idea of the subject,its definitely not an easy test,so dont take it easy,atleast for me because I am not a smart test taker even though I had pretty decent scores earlier,ok guys pray for all three of us ok Good Luck
