What microbe is more sensitive to heat:
1Spores
2-Envelope virus
3-Naked virus

3.naked virus

  #3

Nope. Envelope virus are mosr sensitive to heat.

thanks colombia

  #5

why envelop virus is more sensitive to heat? could you explain? thanks.

  #6

Any one can explain this ?

  #7

I think it's because heat denatures the proteins within the phospholipid bilayer of enveloped viruses. This is required to maintain the integrity of virions in enveloped viruses.

For some reason, I think it's harder to denature proteins within the capsid, so naked viruses are less susceptible to heat treatment.

Sorry it's not a very clear answer.

...but it's a good answer
it sounds like a paradox, but encapsulated viruses ARE more sensitive to environmental factors than the naked ones. for the reason above (Moc's explanation)

Above is correct, but i think spores are more resistant than the other two.

Hi guy, but the question ask for heat sensitivity, not for resistance

Oops...you're right...then based on the above explanation enveloped viruse are the most sensitive.
