Hi , re read mine, I am not judging, I just say no way if not AMG or AMS to study prep 5 week, even that 5 week is just last minute review, but as loacal students , you'll all have learn alot in usa way style in your premed 2 yr or so & med 2 yr or so , we 're in British way style & books . That's all I 'll like to point out, so any one read your thread will know that the way of prep, time frame, books are for them or not . In my previous post I did say as follow, in there nothing is in way of judging . " .......Still hosK, as AMG , congratulation on your high score , since without studying well, hard, no one get high score IMG or AMG . Than after residency , all will be MD, USA . May all American MD dreams come through . " ........... Just sad that , all are professional , but when AMS say score high in short peroid WITHOUT mentioning clearly at the beginning of the post or in title, that will send the false info for IMS IMG around the world, though we all who are already near or know or in the the local system [ not as practicing DR yet though ] know what is , who is who , why prep is possible for short or long for local or foreign grad or students . So here NOT to put any one down, it will be great if sincerly enough to help others, should mention the local students or not, that's all I wish , ask for , so loacl students will benefits from your prep & others will simply congrat you instead of questioning you. Since you're disappear, I almost ask, are you real So Sad that so many misunderstanding , arguing like childish at here even ...after all there will be no line , I hope in MD , USA . Oh well , world peace , where it is, not even here in highest professional field.

And to new_n_lost, shewhope99.99 and the rest of the IMG students, I wish you guys an especially good luck, because judging from the stress and frustration in your replies, you guys are gonna need it. I should had post my long type nice explaination re this AMG AMS , IMG IMS , short prep of AMS is attack to IMS without mention ,or even say no to AMG that is general use of AMS AMG . But now I thought, good I did not post , cause there is waste of time, no point to explain to someone actually do wrong by saying , like ... HEY YOU FRUSTRAED , STRESS IMS ... you need " GOOD LUCK " , that is so mean man . If you re-read your 1st post & title, you said others are wasting time by prep long & use 25 books etc. without saying , you're AMS , that is not that sincere .That really can give wrong message re the prep & can bring some down in prep study time . This forum is to help , support , not to drown any , others . Actually any one read is their choice, if wrong you can guide , but do not say for sure you do not need that much books. Also for me, am sure AMS or AMG , IMS or IMG at least at med yrs try to read as much as possible books that for once in a life time learning . Still we need to read alot if try to stay in this fields especially to be on top of the game . Also almost all books use here are not use in non local med school, so except local students, grads , rests need self taught by all books to be cure , clear that they get the point for sure . In that you can say non local are not lucky , by not study in same way , same books. But , since thanks to all the books , courses but still the kap courses are only review, not teaching , so non local may still read more than one books for each subj , that they used to do in med school yr & in practice . Cause AMS AMG are lucky to sit for own exm, by local Q by local teachers , & local premed, med junior yrs teaching , off course , there is no need much for them to pass or score decent. Likewise nonlocal can pass their own exm in long , short Q Ans slides, spot diagnosis , 10 -- 15 min short case without a clue to Dx rt away with answer rt for fast gun shot Q from examiners & 45 min long completereal cases with real pt exm , viva voce easily , since they are expose to real pts since med young yr as early as you can . All test examiners are at least 3 one our own school, rest from others try to challenge us , ready to fail us if we blink , so we all have to be the best of the best . Some did not make it every yr, do not know here as in med school, any one have been kick out , not drop out . In summary non local are like restart med school without teacher to prep for exm , by self taught , so need all books depends on individual . Frustration , stress , nope , do not think so , not me . Whining may be , to get attention, support . But if there would be actually not from the prep . Mostly from try to have a loaf of bread on the table forself or family, so no fancy sit down study solid time . See , I already loose time to study , so if you sincerely want to help others, do mention at your title, post, start as local AMS AMG or IMS IMG , so others who like to read will read your post . But now , you see what happen, unnecessary tension here now, I also loose all my time of study & fed up with all accusing...... me & NnL , such a nice person as judging you , then .. so as you also saying that me , he frustated, stress from prep that lead to post here to you , so we need good luck . I post here to clarify your post , so others will not get it wrong that any one can prep in 5 week, less books, no kap LN at all . Also to clarify that non local , do not get down depress by your post saying , you all are wasting time by prep long, high score can do just 5 week, no study , Qs only .. all those are for local students or grad who are writing their exms locally . NOPE you give mis leading image info again to others non local that will leads to break good friendship we all have here AMS or AMG , IMS or IMG . If this is your sole intention, it served already , so now you happy , gosh Anyway , next time I will be careful if I think it is no point to explain to the rock , stone , then don't . Let it be, but, me not that good at ignoring something need to be straighten out cause the wrong info is out in public that will harm their soul, will, mind & study and most importantly image of this best web & genuineness. World peace May all mislead info should never appear in this good web sites AMS or AMG , IMS or IMG .

Congratulations!!! I agree with you, in my exam I had those questions, eclampsia, and about the hypertensive states in pregnancy and like you said, my brain did not remember welll those subjects, since I studied basic sciences, but if you read carefully your first aid, there is in one page that talks about eclampsia, preclampsia... congratulations again, I am still waiting for my score
