hi! so i did it- about three weeks earlier than i planned and i have to say i am glad i did! i'm free no matter what the outcome is! here is my experience: first of all it was not as bad as i thought it would be, a lot more clinical questions than i exspected but some questions were tough and i had to do some educated guesses on a few. they are very close to the ones on the official cd, BSS and NMS are harder but especially BSS is a ABSOLUTE MUST, looking back i probably learned most from those q's. i did not have time to do all kaplan q's, i only did about 1000 but they are very good! this is what i studied: First Aid !!!!!! ABSOLUTE MUSt,MEMORIZE IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!! -BSS questions (3850 q) NMS CD (800-1000 questions) Kaplan (1000q) lippincott's illustrated biochemistry my german textbooks for physiology and pharm high yield q's from remembered questions that i had . were actually great!wish had looked into them more i studied for 6 weeks , but had done step 2 before that, so i already studied before. did approx. 6 hrs a dy, about 12 hrs in last week cause my schedule unexspectedly changed i would recommend doing a textbook for behavioral sciences because those q's were actually tough but then again i dont know if the answers can be studied anyway. the topics in my test were: -di george (like 4 questions in all variations!!!) - gout from diuretics (2 questions!) -a lot of diagrams , but nothing crazy, all well known physiology ones pictures of chromosomes. what disease ( klinefelter) gross specimens of heart with thrombus picture of kid with blue sclera (what defect) grief in recent widow xray with osteomyelitis neuroanatomy pics, find certaiin structures affected by diseases (striatum)inciddence, prevalence, change of lung vol in high altitude change of O2 in anemia so nothing too crazy but it wasnt too easy either in general a lot of pharm ( psychotics, kinetics, drug interactions, cancer drugs!!!), physiology (cardiovascular!!!!!, not too much renal and hem), more anatomy then i thought, not too much biochemistry, but its not exactly my best field anyway...), a lot of clinical case scenarios, pathology adn microbio (transduction,transformation,....gastroenteritis in all variants, antibiotics)were a lot of questions also, some weird BS questions ,had no clue what they wanted... well thats it for now , i will let you know what the outcome is. and one last thing: this is just an exam! i know its important for us but we shouldnt let it take over our lives! for everybody taking the test-remember that there are other things out there, too. this is not about life or death its just a test! its so easy to get caught up with thjis whole thing, make it a point to get out, meet friends ,spend some quality time with family- at the end thats more important than a two digit score. GOOD LUCK!

hi! those questions were on a cd that i had, just a bunch of notes and remembered q's that students wrote down. just made me look at certain topics from a different view. got that cd from a friend, unfortunately i don't know how else to get those notes. i am not in the US right now and didnt bring cd with me (left one day after exam), so i can't send you the files either. sorry about that but you have to know that those q's were not key to the exam, they just helped focussing. thanks for the congrats! i'll let you know about the outcome!

The books are organized by subject and some are rated by exam takers. BSS stands for Board Simulator Series NMS stands for National Medical School Review :icon_study: Hope it helps!
