Cause of Inflammation that I know are the finding gastric mucosa or pancreas tissue in Merkel 's diverticulum. Why gastric mucosa doesn't digested in small intestine.

why would gastric mucosa gets digested in small intestine? :S
mucosa doesnt get digested anywhere ...even a small amount of bile and pancreatic secretions reflux back into stomach but that doesnt mean that they are goin to digest the gastric mucosa
