Hi Novak, thanks for stopping by. Yes you are right.
My progress very very slowwww.............not because of my health but probably I a worried about it and about my son. Anyway no use worrying - nothing is in our hands. I will keep doing my best. Have to rev up my engine. Getting bored with RR - have 9 chapters left yet. Part of me says to complete it - other part says switch to another subject if you bored?
Any opinions when you are in this situation ????

I have changed books and even subjects, and it has worked, because instead of loosing time and just reading being bored or sick of reading the same thing, you change and you don't loose time because eventually you will return to read what you where reading but with fresh eyes and fresh mind, and meanwhile you are getting info on another subject that you also need.

Good , was going to call out loud to u & thought , this need to get DC shock b4 flat line is too long 
Do report asap here, where abt in st 1 land .
Me .. every where [ sounds like last yr Feb , March fast multi task .. done lots by time , then .. by some reason etc .... , stop multi study subjs qs etc then , subj or system [ makes me lost ] .
So one subj not move u forwards , do more then one .. all 7 will b done , as far as u r studying .
No time to sit push one book , page , subj , system that bored u , try varieties , but do as works for u , do not take our word for sure .
Report ... 1 or 2 a wk

Thanks shwe for stopping by my journal. I plan to get started today - lot of things to catch up which I had neglected during CS prep - at work , house and son's school. Plan to put a study plan today and get started. Thanks for the advice .

Okay Day 1
Just got back from work and had dinner. It is 8.30 p.m I need to study something before going to bed. I am totally lost how to start again.
What I have done so far: Biochem, Physiology, Pathology 3/4th of RR, and 1/4 th of Pharm in Kaplan. Do I finish Path and Pharm or do I start a new subject? I want to include First Aid in my study from now on. Do I sign up for UWorld too? Confused . Any suggestions welcome.

howz the studies going?? when is your exam ?? well the best thing will be start FA when you sign up for UW ....then u can jote down all the notes from UW into ur FA and look tht stuff there.

I think u can best complete those incompelte subs and then use those UW links to do subject wise qs.... in the mean while u can complete rest of subs....
After that assess with NBME.

Okay I need to finish up what's left - but at the same time want to start something new - I still have CNS left in pharm and path - hence I thought I will start with Neuroanatomy and then do them. All to be done by saturday.

No relation between Neuroanat and pharmac... go ahead and complete it..
Neuroanat 2007 lectures are pretty good.
Reg step 1 date ,First try for one month , the whole June.. then we will decide whether to postone or not.
U can finish it in 2 months.. i am doing it in 30 odd days...

Hey are u looking forward to do Neuro anat with me in 7 days.... Its a part of my 7 day schedule...
I am looking to do daily few hours of lectures and then study and master the respective chapters..
I fu already started then its ok.. I will plan my own scheduel and go accordingly..
But if u havent startted and plan to co-study this Neuroanat... then we can both work toggether on it.

We will study it the following way ::
Book : Kaplan LN + Videos
Day 1 : Chapters 1,2
Day 2 : Chapter 3,4
Day 3,4 : Chapters 5,6
Day 5 : Chapters 7,8,9
Day 6 : Chapters 10
Day 7 : Chapters 11
Daily for about 3-4 hrs for Neuroanatomy
After we perfect Kaplan , we can switch onto HY if needed after assessing on UW.
