Hi everyone. I'm planning to take Step 2 CK in three months' time and someone recommended that i read NMS for Independent study for all subjects. But it's too long! Would you recommend this? If not, which books do you recommend? Thanks!

It would be cool if one could do them all. Usually, they are of high standard. But I gathered that most of the folks who have done real well in step 2 have done Kaplan notes, Crush the Boards, First Aid, Blue Prints and questions from Kaplan qbank, Usmle world questions, and NMS review questions.
All the best,
Meg

Hi crossingmyfingers,
I did Step 2 last year and passedit and I found Crush the Step 2 by Adam Brochert very interesting. It is short, clear in concepts and covers every subject. It highlight the really most important to know. It worth to have one.
I can say that there are subjects that I studied entirely from that book. Of course with my old notes from school medicine.
