IMHO residents have it easy nowadays, at most 13 hours work per 24 hours, and if you decide to live in the hospital you may get 8 hours sleep and still have 3 hours to do whatever you want, like eating, working out and google surfing.
In the old days, NS hit 120 - 140 hours, now that’s abusive.
