family history is definitely the most important risk factor for alzeimers

But let me ask you this q: what about breast CA? age or family history? Well we say age because under 30 yo we can rarely see breast ca. It's the same for alzeimer, even in down syn which we see it earlier on, it's in the fourth decade, I mean even with other risk factors you don't see alzeimer in 30s or 40s or...So how can we say age is not the most important? I don't recall the UW q , but I'll look to see what is their explanation.

yup what you say is rt abt breast ca , but remember reading somewhere that family h/o was most imp for alzeimers, let me know if you find the rt answer someplace

hey khorshid , just googled it. i was wrong. you are right. the greatest risk factor is age, i guess that shold have been the logical conclusion. AGE AGE AGE AGE never forget that now!
