I think you should go by your first guess. The right answer is E. Ergastoplasm represents a regional concentration of RNA and exhibits marked basophilia. Now as its basophilic,therefore should be stained by haematoxylin. NOT BY EOSIN. Remember= HB pencil stands for Haematoxylin stains Basophilic structures.
