Tnx to u i found this link grin Btw Ergastoplasm is nothing but GOOD OLE rERsticking out tongue. Now then the ans sud be D..coz it's basophilic, being acidic itself, Not B/C .so. Waiting for ur response.

I think you should go by your first guess. The right answer is E. Ergastoplasm represents a regional concentration of RNA and exhibits marked basophilia. Now as its basophilic,therefore should be stained by haematoxylin. NOT BY EOSIN.

Remember= HB pencil stands for Haematoxylin stains Basophilic structures.
