hi, guys, how could you know if your personal statement is longer than 1 page?
after we save the PS in myERAS, it just appears longer if you keep writing it, it does not show in a seperate page.

thank you!

Type it in word or another word processing program. It will let you know approximately how many pages you have.

Thanks bbb, I did that, but i guess it depends on the font, the paragraph space, the size, page marging...
I just want make sure it fit into 1 page.
Is there any other way to know how does the program director will print the PS?
thank you!

Use the standard of Times New Roman, 12pt, single space, 1 inch margins.

Is it recommended to write the PS only in 1 page??

wow one page, you're good I wrote myne at first it came to 3 pages and then editing and deleting and some more deleting I got it down to one and half. I guess this is the final one i'm sticking to unless someone strongly sugests otherwise

One page is enough. My PS even 4/5 page.

I attended a workshop in Kaplan and they said please appreciate the time of program directors. They have to read lots of stuffs of applicants.

If they say 1 page I would keep it to 1 page. If they say "around" 1 page then you can make it longer. Programs are reading thousands of PS. How would you feel if you come across PS's that are longer than directed.

Hi my PS is about 68 lines /1-1/2 pages / and about 4200 words; is that fine???
