I have seen a couple of hospitals that are IMG friendly but MOST of them have this as common denominator:
1- Graduated less than 5 years ago.
2- Scores of step 1 and 2 average of 80
3- USCE
4- and some ask PASS on the first attempt and FEW will ask PASS all the exams within at least 5 attepmts.
My question is were are the people in residency, that were members, I know they are busy and they have move with their life, but will not hurt for them to visit

hello gogeta.
1- yeah a lot of them have a 5 yr cut off. i'd say more than 50%. there are some with a 3yr c/o but also some without any cut off. mine as an example has 5 yr cut off.
2- i don't know, especially in FM a lot of prgs have just pass, but of course there are not few with 80,82 or 85plus.
3-most of them want at least some USCE. i'd say the majority but not all. mine wanted 4months of US or CAN exp.
4-dont know about that. pass at first time is of course the best.
how are your stats? i think the interview day is probably the most important, plus write a very good and unique PS.

How is the teaching?
It is true that they teach you EVERYTHING, like if you have a low IQ, they dont care how much you know they will teach you from scrath is that true?
How much you can do by yourself?

man, it feels great. i still walk with a smile in my face all the time. for me all the sumle-stress was really worth it.

teaching is GREAT!!!! every morning teaching rounds, 1-2 times a day lectures/journal clubs/ecg,radiology...rounds.

no man, i think they expect you to know some basic stuff. but some how yeah they teach you EVERYTHING.
ßßHow much you can do by yourself?
a lot. whatever you feel competent of doing (from ordering medications to putting a central line or suturing a cut) they let you do it. if you've never done it, they'll teach you.
