hi evryone i m done with step 1 step 2 and cs , got my step 3 result recently, i grafueted 4 yrs back and dont have any us experiance
my scores are step 1 95 step 2 96 and step 3 89
what is my chance of getting a good rewsidency??
will appreciate any input

but people say us experiance is the most important thing and i dont have it, plus i m not a fresh graduate ...do you know people like me who matched to good residency program??

Hey zainee. Let's just say I'd be willing to trade places with you. With all the exams completed, you're sure of a slot. It will just depend on your interviews, I think. Don't worry about the USCE. I know lots of people who were evn offered prematches in unversity programs with CS and Step 3 results pending. And your scores are even higher. Just do good in the interview. Good luck!!!

thanx Dr luck and hanskenneth for ur supporting words for so many guys who have good scores but no USCE.
i was upset for the same reason.............
my situation is 99/99/passed/92
even these are good scores but u know whenever i go through many posts explaining the importance of USCE and some says its necessory and without USCE its almost immpossible to get residency make me tense.

Don´t you think your questions are out of place?..., I mean if you got 90s on your steps, you should be intelligent enough to know about your situation..., you can easily compare your situation with a lot of us and easily see you have a great advantage...., I think the reason why your asking these questions is not a very good one..., Arrogance, EGO maybe?...

hey egomez2001,
believe me or not its not the question of ego, arrogance etc, every body should be humble speacially in this forum where no one is extraordinar,
but why dont u consider someone saying "without USCE u cant get residency" Is that statment "a piece of cake" for someone who doesnt have USCE? plz try to understand what my point is ,
its not arrogance or pride for something but uncertanity in our lives we r going through...everyone is looking for support of others specially if someone is really lacking in one field like me.
in the end even now u think its arrogence, a pride then forgive me.....

we are all going through a difficult time , its uncertanity in our life thats making us think like this....i know people with excellent score still not being able to match..... egomez2001 believe me its not arrogence.........my point was not to hurt someone but to get some help and support ............ peace and love i pray that we all get what we want

usce is a definite plus to ur cv but dat is not the only thing....desi....u hav excellent scores..try to send in good lors nd work on interview skills...ppl hav made it to good places without even an iota of usce.....
althoh its very difficult....try not to fret over watever u dont have...jus try polishing wat u have into somehthing even better....wil make a diff in the end
