Have everything that you think with strengthen your application ready, and your best party manners on! Stay on top of the NRMP site with information on post match openings. Have your material ready to be faxed or mailed depending on the programs wishes. Have everything ready that you believe will strengthen your application.
Patience. Programs don't have to fill their positions within minutes of the rank list opening up. They may tell you that they are filled, but sometimes a program will have hundreds of applications for one spot. Sometimes the best question won't be "Do you still have a position open?" but "Is the program director still reviewing applications"
(And when I hear that question, I'll know that you know about this site! )
