Guys , I have a question for you .

When you are practicing a particular case in FA with a family or friend , in the interrogation part Do you write down the questions and answers from FA or you just memorize them so you don ' t have to hold any papers .

I ask that because since I just start with my prep , I uses copies from Fa while I am practicing with my patient but I don ' t think that 's is the most apropriate way to do it .

Can you guys share with me your expecience please ?

doc_clotaire,

it is better that you don t hold any papers. However in the real exam u will have the writing pad and the scrap paper anyways in your hand to note down the history but if you are confident that u will remember then u can keep it down as son as u enter the room

Dear friends , i would advise u to write EVERY answer (or an abbrev. for it ) on the scrap paper ,cuz ppl told me that once u get out to write the PN ,u cant remember anything at all ... so u wont lose anything JUST TELL THE PATIENT : Do u mind me taking some notes while we are speaking ? and write his answers along with mnemnics Liqoraa ,Pamhugsfoss ...

Best of luck to you brothers in arms

that's my plan... before i enter the room, i plan to write down the pneumonics on the scratch paper and then politely ask the SP that if it is ok to jot down a few notes during the interview. but the key is to make sure that i keep eye contact with the patient.
