I can't answer that - I don't know you, I don't know your support system, the age of the kid, if your parents are going to stay with you to help. Has it been done? Yes, but I will say that they stress on the resident that I am thinking of is awful - I don't know how she does it.

It is possible .It is a very subjective question .What yu can know is that it has been done before but what is easy for one is impossible for others and what is impossible for one is easy for others . You can be the best judge .And regarding the urgency of the response that you demanded i want to emphasize that even if 100 guys and 100 girls respond with all sort of suggestions in one minute you have to be careful in what you do . What you have to know is that it can be done . You can do it or not you better ask yourself .WHether you choose to pursue the residdency or you choose not to you will be a winner in either case .NO ifs ands or butts

Sorry, I don't know how the residents do it, I just know that some do. Can the child stay with your husband or parents? It would make your life easier Just think child care for long days, over night care (I wouldn't even know where to find that). Good luck.

kingusmle i dont know why you are worried. Your parents will be staying with you, what more support can you ask for?...Couples in residencies do it without any help frm parents at all. Noone's gonna say its easy but its not too hard either.

Just a little story. My friend did it with a child who can't go to day care due to severe allergies. Two years with a parent's help and the last year dragged somehow(child shifting between mom and dad and a baby sitter). However, she is done now and in a part time job.
