Not sure, but i think its the first edition. the current one in the market is 2nd edition, and i don't exactly know if there is significant difference between the two, EXCEPT for that the 2nd edition has images... lots of them.

Red cover 1st edition, no pic color, come with CD make sure is Q 350, 2nd link by Tim .
Less pages . Some read it till the 1st 6 mo of this yr .
2nd edition , blue, purple color, now on sale $ 27, so worthed even have old red cover with stars .That has online Q , in book is excellent color pic, in patho histo , pt pic, morbid patho specimens , nice pearl on side, colorful in side in texts , para, but delicate , hard to write on, if did, yr ink even ball point or nice pen bleed DO NOT WRITE ON THAT , I do not know , so write on it, my book few psges messy, thank god, not on any pic page, so i stop writing on it .
With $27 onsale, definately 2nd edition, 1st link here sh buy even has old one.
Not see 1st edition, so cannot say same with 2nd edition or not. But 2nd ed is good, only is cannot write on, also book is v. delicate like thin glass, easy to wrinkle, destroy nice, pic, even the text type in there, may be that is reason on sale, cause , as med student or Dr , we all like the book with hard cover, durable, easy to carry, unbreakable, even we don't give any care to that cause we like to carry our most favorite book ;ike that to every where, read several time.
But even me , now put the book away on nice shelf away fr study messy desk with pile of stuff, books, so will not get ruin, so not read as much as tend to be . Cause have to go inside far back room to get the book to read . Same for Robin review Q book with color pic, that cannot get folded or wrinkle , too beautiful to let it happen.
sorry about the long post, the 2nd ed , has no CD Q , but online .
2nd ed ppl said has good side HY facts , what I like is the color in those texts , so no need to high light which will destroy the nice photo glossary thin page .
DO NOT HIGH LIGHT , just a topuch of point or dot with pin point high light or pen only .

Both are real , red with white then red stars on is 1st edition,
purple blue with line on is 2nd edition.
