Hi everyone out there,

I am one of those people who are not big fans of FA but as we all know it is highly recommended , so I do not want to skip it. On the other hand I like medEssentials very much. I was thinking of transferring FA into my medEssentials ( off course only the missing info.) and read this for the final revision instead of FA. Do you think it is a good idea to do that ? Has anyone done this before ? If so, was it helpful ? Any tips or thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Bioguy, thanks buddy.

Yoga, as I have not read FA yet, so I didn't know that there is nothing in there which is not mentioned in the medEss. Thanks for the info. This will make things easier for me, that I will not have to add much to med.Ess.

P4a99, Thanks for the link.

GL to all nod.

Hey , I also tried to do what starbrite did , thinking that I will get rid of all 7 books and will read only one Kaplan Bible, but I found it very overwhelming and gave up after 2 chapters of mol. bio. Now what I am doing is , reading Kaplan first , then the same chapter from KME and then from FA.

I think each one of these serves different purpose and are meant for using at the different levels of study. At the beginning we need to read Kaplan lecture notes i.e the first level , then KME is good when you know the details of lecture notes and FA is for the last revisions. Now I feel that it is not a good idea to merge these books , except jotting down extremely important points , if missing,

Starting KME and FA as early as possible will make you familiar with these two and you will find them easy to read in the last days . But of course everyone can and has to study according to what suits their individual needs.
