I have a friend of mine who studied only & only from Kaplan & got a 99. I think it depends on how strong ur basics are from med school. Goljan audio is really really good,it helps you integrate you knowldege of many subjects & make ur concepts crystal clear abt most of the high yield stuff.

Golj is summary for all subjects , almost all , not behavir Sc for sure . I like both, i try kap 1st then Golj . Alot of friends do both & score 92 to 99 . All up to your taste , some read big Robin or as reference too & Ronin Qs . Also depends on your time frame. GL

Its completely worthless to listen to kaplan videos .its better if u just concentrate on one book and master it rather than reading many books .

I think it is better to listen Goljan audio and also read Goljan rapid review. Read KN for suplement. Also read through BRS pathology for 3rd review and then add on Robbin and Coltran review which is Question based book. If first listening and reading throughly, you can understand concepts , second reading would be very fast. But if you listen two audios, it takes more time and doesn't work efficiently as Kaplan dvd will be 20 hrs at least. By my experience with the other subject, I find it is better to heard one resource and read two resources. Reading is more active event, if you are pretty comfortable with certain contents, you will just need a short time to read through.

I am confused . Hi , I thought you're asking for the advice, is not . You just like to telll others to follow your way of study . Everyone has their own way , but some like to get others opinium, ways , that's ok. But if you have your own firmed decision way of study , save your & others time to not post ask q like support site here . Best is has own journal then we , any one interested will come in & discuss . For me reading without listening never work in usmle , even just to study progressively . Every one should experiment at the " beginning " of study , but ususally the original own way is the best. Carry on T5 . GL

I am sorry for confusion but I do not mean that. I really need to discuss this issue with friends here and after discussion, I come up with my plan. So I thought it would be good to tell the other people my plan. But it is eally personel preference, no influence at all.

No harm done, may be keep this topic open, even we change our study style , favor or priority, way of thinking over time . So we all can come back here to put up our experince & way of study re this two over the time when we change our study way or opinium. GL
