Apparently there is somethig called the Pol Gene which is mutated in the HAART therapy for AIDS, the POL Gene is responsible for the Protease and Reverse Transcriptase Enyzme encoding and regulation

HAART = Highly Active Anti Retroviral Therapy= its a combination of Protease Inhibitors and NRTIs ( Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors) and NNRTIs ( Non Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors).
