UW has a lot of stuff NOT covered in Kaplan, and when I do the questions I feel that is not a great assesment of how I'm doing, because A LOT of what they ask about is not even covered in the review books and I am seeing it for the first time... Just a few examples: Blue toe syndrome, Bechet's syndrome, OHSS... (I know UW is more for 'learning' rather than for 'assesment' purposes though.
But are these EXTRA points really important for the purpose of CK, or are they rare picky little details not worth remembering. I have been taking notes on these points, but I want to know if it is actually time well spent or just a waste....

these topics of UW r vvery frustrating,espcially when you see contradictory pieces of fact and then start by yourself to search for the answers.............this is a process we all r going through.take it as a learning experience

I felt the same way at the beginning but once you get used to it you will do much better and believe me you have no idea how much it helps!!!! I saw a lot of those weird cases in my real exam...plus the REAL long format of UW is the best way to get used to CK format... believe me....once you can manage UW questions the real exam is nothing....
See it as a complement for the lectures...the lectures don't cover all the material.... if you only study from the kaplan lectures you would not be prepared the day of the exam...and don't get frustrated about your scores in the UW...everybody knows it is a very very difficult bank I scored 50's 60's rarely 70 or 80's and I got a 99...so don't worry if you score 50's and 60's you are doing great....Good luck and don't ever stop doing UW... is a great if not the best weapon for ck...I owe my 99 to UW trust me!!!!
