guys, i read in kaplan that Peak flow is decreased in restrictive lung disease but UW mention there s an increase in expiratory flow rate due to increase in radial traction on the conducting airways.

What do you think?

In restrictive diseases, the lung volumes and flow are reduced but the flow in relation to lung volume is actually higher than normal, in other words there is a supernormal expiratory flows when corrected for lung volume.
