sorry some are not int. medicine Qs.
When we do HIV test 3 months after initial supected infection, it is perhaps screening test and if positive we will need to do another confirmatory test. So should we tell the patient that even after 3 months, first test will not be confirmatory and we wll do another test which will confirm or exclude infection?
In OCP counselling, after history taking, should we tell the patient that we will do physical and after that some tests such as PT, LFT's and only after that we can write OCP?
If we tell the diagnosis to a psychiatric patient and patient asks, Doctor do you mean I am suffering from a mental disease? what should be our answer?
